Wendzelle x Lowsh Collaborate on "Excuses"

On July 17th, 2020, WENDZELLE makes her solo debut on a new house-pop fusion track called “Excuses”. Excuses is a House / Pop fusion track, bending genres to bring you a catchy, dark, danceable tune.  Perfect for your solo quarantine dance party, “Excuses” explores the hidden themes of relationships - imperfections, infidelity, inner strife - with a beat to which the body cannot resit moving.  Created as a collaboration between Seattle-based producer Lowsh (Aleksey Weyman) and local pop songwriter WENDZELLE (Alyssa Wendzel), “Excuses” is full of sonic intrigue.  Lowsh brings his signature dark, dance vibe to the track, synthesized with break beats and half-time to tie in with WENDZELLE’s pop-style melodies.

Wendzelle wrote the lyrics & vocal melody for “Excuses” in April 2020, after being inspired by an unreleased Lowsh track. The two brought “Excuses” to life remotely, and hope to continue to release future music together to bring you some dance vibes during this quarantine. ✨
